Hello there! I welcome you to this collection of my urban planning work samples, most of which I completed during my time at Portland State University completing my Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning.

My name is Nick, and since I learned that humans spend an average of 90% of their time indoors, I try to spend time even more of my free time outdoors. In doing so, I gravitate towards riding my bike, backpacking, and enjoying the Portland’s lovely system of parks.

I’ve spent the past three years working full-time at Portland State and volunteering with BikeLoud PDX, all while completing my Master’s degree. I’m particularly proud of my work with BikeLoud PDX as I helped to advocate for active transportation infrastructure that users of all ages and abilities feel comfortable on. My work to advance bicycling has cultivated within me a sharp awareness to issues affecting urban areas such as climate change, public health, and equitable development.
